Rudolf Balogh (1879–1944) – a pioneer of Hungarian photography – was a war correspondent for the Vasárnapi Újság, recording events of the World War. Many of his pictures are currently displayed by war museums in Berlin and Vienna. More than two thousand of his large glass negatives, panorama pictures and stereo photos from this era have been preserved by the Hungarian Photographic Museum.
The gallery below contains pictures we selected from the 1914 Fall issue of Vasárnapi Újság.
